how We Got Started

Kelly’s fascination with construction started at a young age.  He grew up watching his father build new homes and commercial buildings in Washington D.C. the and Maryland suburbs.

Riding to work with his dad Kelly was always excited to spend the day on-site. His father patiently shared his vast knowledge with Kelly in the hopes that someday he would follow in his footsteps.

Some 45 years later the roles have switched, it’s now Kelly’s turn to pass on his knowledge to his son Collin.

Those experiences, coupled with 35 years of remodeling and new home construction, are the foundation of my expertise in the home inspection field.

How FullScale Inspection Got Started

Why Hire Us

Having been involved with residential and light, commercial construction for over 35 years, Kelly and his team have the experience and confidence you should demand from your home inspector.

My home building experience, combined with 20+ years of residential and commercial remodeling, has given me the unique opportunity to see first hand the classic building practices of yesterday and the modern building techniques used today,  a qualification few inspectors have.

Be confident knowing you’re making the right choice by choosing FullScale Home Inspection.

Home Builder Experience

Kelly was a successful custom home builder and designer for 14 years. He constructed new homes in Howard and Montgomery County Maryland.

He was tasked with overseeing every aspect of home design and construction, from the planning and design stage to the final finishing touches, managing every aspect of home construction.

It was a rewarding challenge and a never-ending education, and the same holds true for a home inspection. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, something new pops up.
